Falling Bridges

Each Autumn, our Father would take us on a Mystery drive to view the Fall Foliage. One such trip was a ride through the Hudson River Valley. The leaves were red, orange, and yellow. I wondered why some stayed green and refused an Autumn tint.

Yellowing the paper was a nice touch. I used to make treasure maps as a kid. Wet the paper with lemon juice and into a hot oven for a few minutes. Don't know the science behind it, but it worked.
