Lilikoi deserts are very popular in Hawaii and many of its famous chefs, like Alan Wong, incorporate this exotic fruit in their signature dishes. One of my friends from Australia emailed me a recipe for something she calls Pash-Tart, or passion fruit tart, and I've never had anything quite so delicious in Hawaii.

My quick translation of the Pash-Tart ingredients:
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup chilled butter, chopped
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons chilled water
1 cup thickened cream
1/2 cup super-fine (caster) sugar
4 eggs
